The podcast is a segway to create meaningful conversations about Feminism, Education, Work, Lifestyle, Home, and Relationships in South Asian Cultures. Every South Asian woman is unique, their voices and thoughts should be heard.

To discuss today’s topic, we have Suman Ann, who is a student at Temple University pursuing Media Studies and Production.
Today’s episode highlights relationships in the South Asian Community. Relationships are seen to be taboo or a big no no from a young age within our societies. With relationships evolving over time, it has become important for us to break the ice and normalize how to talk about it casually as adults get older. And to discuss the topic, we have Ashley Alex, who’s a Temple University’s alumnae, Journalism major from Klein College of Media and Communication.
Today’s episode highlights South Asian Women in Filmmaking. And to discuss that topic, we have Aastha Verma, an award-winning Director, and Producer currently residing in Los Angeles. She has directed, produced, and crafted stories such as The Unsung Feather and the Last Rights. Aastha focuses on stories that bring out the realness in our world and societies and wants to tell stories that viewers can learn from her movies.

The episode highlights an important and common problem in our society, which is colorism. And, to discuss that topic, we have Dr. Meghnaa Tallapragada, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Temple University. She also founded Project Colorism, research and Instagram project dedicated to sharing stories of people experiencing colorism.

In this episode, we have the talented Sneha Bhatia, an entrepreneur who runs a Dubai-based bakeshop called Sugaholic located in Karama, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She’s also a renowned food blogger and a supermom currently based in Toronto. Along with her accomplishments, she and her sister Ravisha won the popular choice award during the Cake Boss competition in Abu Dubai for Sugaholic and holds a Guinness world record for the tallest cupcake tower.
In this episode, we have Aneeyat Gardezi, who currently resides in Berlin, Germany. We discussed all things makeup, moving from city to city, and about ARTIL.
We have Atina, who is working as a Business Intelligence Analyst in New York. She talks to us about the tech industry, STEM, women in STEM and advised women on how to get involved in the tech field.
We have Sarina Ahmed, who is currently studying to get her Doctor of Pharmacy at Temple University to become a licensed Pharmacist. She’s also interning at a pharmacy. She’s here to talk to us about women in healthcare professions and what is going on in the healthcare industry.
We have Priti Malik, a radio co-host of UAE's #1 Breakfast Radio Show. She was born and raised in New York City and moved to Dubai to pursue her career in broadcast. In this episode, we talk about her journey into the world of broadcasting; we learned some tips and tricks about navigating the world of media.
